Enterprise Power. Mid-Enterprise Simplicity.
Madison Travel leader of more than 26 years, who helped build the company’s travel operations, will now guide Madison Travel’s next phase of operational growth and client service.
NEW YORK, NY – October 16, 2026 — Madison Global, a 100% employee-owned company specializing in employee recognition and incentive travel, today announced the promotion of Isidoro “Izzy” Nicosia to Chief Operating Officer of Madison Travel, the company’s incentive travel, meetings and events group. Nicosia, who joined Madison in 2000 and most recently served as Executive Vice President of Operations, will lead Madison Travel’s operations, effective immediately.
As Chief Operating Officer, Nicosia will build on his longstanding leadership of Madison Travel’s operations, program delivery, air, sourcing, technology, and supplier partnerships. His near-term priorities include further integrating teams across the client experience, expanding automation and technology capabilities, and creating efficiencies that allow Madison Travel to scale while maintaining the personalized service and exceptional experiences Madison Travel delivers. He will continue to report to Alex Alaminos, President and CEO of Madison Global, working closely with Alaminos to shape Madison Travel’s strategic direction and drive the next phase of growth.
“Izzy has spent more than 26 years making Madison Travel stronger, from his first day as an air agent to helping build our in-house technology that our clients rely on, and strengthening how we deliver for every client,” said Alaminos. “He leads with a deep commitment to our people and our client portfolio. I look forward to continuing to work closely with him as we shape the future of Madison Travel and deliver outstanding experiences for the organizations we serve.”
Nicosia joined Madison’s air department in April 2000. He went on to lead Madison’s air department, then directed travel operations before becoming Vice President of Travel Operations, and most recently, Executive Vice President of Operations. Over more than 26 years, he has helped develop the teams and systems that support hundreds of client meetings and group travel events each year.
Under his leadership, Madison Travel developed dedicated teams of program coordinators, project managers, air specialists, and technology professionals. These teams are supported by a leadership group that guides staff, coordinates across functions, and ensures consistent program delivery and client service. Nicosia expanded the air team and established an in-house technology team in 2017, strengthening Madison’s capacity to support large and complex client programs.
The technology team manages a combination of proprietary systems and third-party platforms. It built AirConfirm, Madison’s air management system, from the ground up to streamline the experience for air agents and travelers. The team also developed MadisOn-Trak, which supports onsite attendee check-ins, itinerary access and team communication, and the newly released MadisOn-Table, a proprietary restaurant portal supporting dine-around and evening-at-leisure programs. These tools help Madison’s teams work more efficiently, deliver personalized service and enhance the traveler experience.
“When I began my career at Madison, we received registrations via fax,” Nicosia recalled. “A lot has changed since then, but our team’s commitment and the relationships we build with our clients remain at the heart of everything we do. I’m proud of what we’ve built together. As COO, my focus is bringing our teams closer together, simplifying how we work, and giving our people the support and tools to deliver exceptional experiences for our clients and their travelers.”
Nicosia’s promotion reflects Madison’s practice of developing leaders from within. As a 100% employee-owned company, Madison is led by people who share in its results, and its employees average 12 years of tenure.
Nicosia’s advancement continues Madison Global’s recent investment in leadership across its Recognition and Travel groups. 2026 appointments include Judd Weisgal as Chief Sales Officer of Madison Recognition, Steven Trompeter as Senior Vice President of Sales for Madison Recognition, Agnes O’Connell as Vice President of Marketing for Madison Global, and Gale Crosley joining Madison Global as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors.
