Using recognition as a strategic complement to traditional workforce engagement tactics is capturing the attention of executives across the business world. In response to this trend, The Human Capital Institute (HCI), a global professional association advancing the science of strategic talent management, and Madison Performance Group, the premier global reward and recognition design and consulting firm, announced that Madison Performance Group is sponsoring HCI‟s new Recognition in a Talent Economy online e-learning track, providing news sources, expert online advice, web conferences and communities of interest for talent management professionals. Membership is free of charge.

“Recognition as part of an overall employee engagement strategy has broadened. Together with HCI we plan to pursue the highest level of conversation, while also exploring some of the best practices and techniques for optimizing the measurable impact recognition has on business outcomes,” stated Mike Ryan, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Client Strategy at Madison Performance Group.

“HCI is delighted that Madison Performance Group is underwriting content on Recognition in a Talent Economy, which will be produced over four webcasts, with related e-Briefings and podcasts,” stated Joy Kosta, HCI Senior Director of Talent Communities.

The first webcast in the Recognition in a Talent Economy series will be “The Return on Recognition, Making and Sustaining the Business Case,” airing on Wed., June 30, 2010 at 3 p.m. EST. Visit http://www.hci.org/cfe/track/recognition-talent-economy to register or contact support@hci.org for assistance. There is no fee to participate.
